We have all got used to a lot more online learning and video calls over the past few months and whilst a lot of things have gone back to the way they were, it does feel like this is something that is here to stay. Now that we have learnt to keep the cat out of the room and put our washing away, there are so many benefits to learning from the comfort of your own home, the flexibility, comfort, a decent cup of tea for a start!
So this is why in March, after much hard work, we launched our series of live and interactive, instructor led webinars that allow you to complete your RYA Day Skipper theory course from the comfort of your own home, whilst saving yourself £45 to boot!
Our popular RYA day skipper theory course is just the perfect introduction to cruising and we really think that this makes it a more accessible course for all. It’s a comprehensive course that equips you with enough knowledge to navigate around familiar waters by day whilst also giving you an introduction to night-time cruising and certification on completion.
So how does it work? Well we have created a sequence of live instructor led webinars set at specific times so that you still get that important interactive experience and chance to ask questions in the moment.
As this RYA course involves 40 hours of learning, we have broken it up into 3 sessions a week over 5 weeks, so you can get our and practice your new skills along the way.
We will send you all of the materials needed, all you have to do is remember to turn up to all of the sessions, these are live, interactive sessions and not recorded so attendance is crucial.

COURSE: RYA Day Skipper Theory, Live Instructor Led Webinars
COST: £375, including course pack, plotters & dividers and training almanac
DURATION: 40 hours, 3 live sessions per week, over 5 weeks. All sessions must be attended at the times specified below in order to complete the course and receive certification.
1st November to 8th December (inc). Combination of evenings and Saturdays:
· Monday and Wednesday evenings, EVERY WEEK 6-8pm
· Saturday Mornings 9am to 12 noon
